I’m sorry. My name Ifan
New member, nonMason, and Muslim in Indonesia

I have some questions, about Freemason
First, why the Freemason is very secret? i mean, if Freemason teach man of kindness, Not supposed to be secret. Whereas, the world need a good people, the good moral people
I know somebody, from twitter. He is Knight Mason in the California and good people. I respect to him. Every time i retweet he is post on twitter, he is always say ‘Thanks for retweeting my tweets dear Brother ~/G\~’ it’s the little things that I do and he is always ‘Thanks’

And he is say ‘The secrets are about building moral character’
What is it the truth? If it’s the truth, i can’t the ‘building moral character’ if Freemason still a very secret

And one more questions
If anyone can help me find a Freemason in Indonesia?

i’m sorry, my bad english language :-)

So glad to see LOJ back. One of the things you learn in the course of a pretty long life is that you can never bring back the past. I don’t participate much any more in this forum, and I miss it. The reason for this is that there just isn’t a lot new anymore. Virtually everything that comes up for question and/or discussion has been covered sometime before. This is a testimony to the success of the site. It has become an enormous encyclopedia of Masonic knowledge and it updates itself constantly. I don’t believe there has ever been such a resource of knowledge and advice for masons and those interested in becoming a Mason. I am proud to have played a small role in this some years ago when the site was relatively new. And I am proud to have been able to join with Dan and the other moderators and administrators who created the site and have kept it on the same course all this time. Lion of Jordan and a number of other frequent and valuable contributors, including a number in the UK and elsewhere abroad, have vastly enriched our knowledge.

So, welcome back LOJ and I hope you’ll have some more of those contributions that only you can give us. I’ll be looking in and having something to say from time to time. My best wishes to everyone.
