Hello,
I was just wondering if you (the figurative “you”) are a Mason and you attend all of your monthly meetings and you are active in your lodge, but one month something happens either family emergency, or something else makes it so you can’t attentd a monthly meeting will you as the Mason be not welcomed to continue to come to the meetings because you missed a monthly meeting???  Also would you have to call the lodge and tell them you are not coming to the meeting?  Just had that thought in my head the other day.  Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your message and your continued interest in Freemasonry.

At a minimum, Freemasonry should be third on your list of priorities after your family and your work. Depending on your other commitments and responsibilities, it may be even further down the list. It is understood there will be times when attending your Lodge’s meetings will be impractical. You will always be welcome in your Lodge, whether you miss one meeting, a year’s worth of meetings, or 50 years of meetings (it has happened).
