The procedure is simple. You must find a lodge in your area of residence, and request a petition, and fill it out. Then you wait for a response from the lodge.  2B1 ASK 1 !!!

With all due respect to the adage: 2B1Ask1, and I do see the bumperstickers for time to time:
The Masonic image is in a state of change and that is certainly for the better. At least here in the USA, the Grand Lodges of the various states have refreshed that one-way communication to get accepted in a lodge toward a more open environment. Here in Massachusetts: Open Houses
(statewide) open the doors to new Masonic petitioners. It it therefore important in your region to make the effort to get in front of the top officers of a local lodge and ask them to sit down with you, invite you to the time after their meeting night, and discuss their membership process.
