Dear Atari:
This is one of the more frequent questions on this Forum. Search a bit more for the Symbol discussions and your will find the misinformation seekers and then the rebuttal and the clear logic. BTW, take a look at the US One Dollar Bill in your wallet, turn it over and What do you see? Yes, the “All Seeing Eye”. JayZ has quite a few of these, and he just might be draw to that symbolism first.
A little research will give you your answer.

I would agree. http://www.masonicinfo.com is a great site for debunking conspiracy theories. I used to be heavily into them myself and finally took a step back and saw that they’re using just as many fear tactics as “they” are using. My advice is to keep researching. Those conspiracy theory sites will tell you just about every celebrity or person in power is an “evil freemason” or illiminati member. Hope you can find a little truth in your search.

Thanks for your questions.

I would just like to add that if you live in Massachusetts and truly want to learn what Freemasonry is and does, first click on the Frequently Asked Questions link ( http://www.askafreemason.org/topten/index.htm ) at the top of this page—if you think you are still interested, try to contact one of the Ambassadors here directly. Tell us either on the Forum or through emails or PM’s what towns you live or work near. We’ll help you get started.

While sometimes people on the Forum recommend other sites, not all of the information you read will be true for Massachusetts Freemasonry, and could actually be confusing (including the information on the masonicinfo page recommended on this thread). While there are many good Sites out there about Freemasonry, the best way to get the answers you are looking for—and the purpose of this Site—is to talk to a real Mason in person. If you are in Massachusetts, find a way to ask a Mason to be invited to a Lodge. We can help you on this Site. Believe me, you’ll discover a lot more in person than you’ll ever learn on a Website (including this one!)

Best of luck,
