I heard a radio commercial about today’s open house and was wondering what events are happening at any of the various lodges in the greater springfield ma area.

Unfortunately, this question couldn’t be answered yesterday, as the Masons who usually answer on here were at lodges conducting the open house.

What was happening in your area was the same as was happening in all other lodges in MA.  The lodge buildings were all open from 9 to 3 on Saturday for people to come buy, get a tour, and ask questions about Freemasonry.  I hope you made it out to a lodge.

If you weren’t able to make it to an Open House and you would still like to learn more about Freemasonry, I encourage you to contact a Brother of a lodge near you.  The “Find a Lodge Near You” feature on the AskaFreemason site has the name and contact information of a member of every lodge in the state.  He will be able to answer your questions, and if you would like, set up a tour of their building, introduce you to some other members, etc.  There are several lodge in, and around, Springfield.
