I was in Demolay back when I was a kid for a short time (I am 38 now think I was about 13 then). My brother was in for years and he stopped going to basically because of the closure of the Masonic Temple in Abington Ma Both of us actually would like to join up again. Pretty much just wondering who I would talk too. I now live in a town with a lodge but don’t know the names. Thanks

Check out http://www.masonic-renewal.org/freemasonry_explained.htm It has a good capsule description.

Are you and your brother, both resident in Abington Mass. The Grand Lodge of Mass is:

http://www.massfreemasonry.org

You should locate the lodge, nearest you residence, and contact them directly. Ask for a “petition form”, and fill it out, and return it. Then you are on your way to becoming a Mason.

Please keep up advised of your progress!

Hi, Scott ---

My name is Adam Mitchell, and I am the District Ambassador for the 17th Masonic District of Massachusetts, of which both East Bridgewater (and Abington!) are part.

I would be more than happy to help you through the process to become a Mason at one of the Lodges that meet in East Bridgewater.  There are 4 of them, and which one you join depends on a few factors, the most decisive of which is what night of the week you are available to go to Lodge.

Please, send me a private message through this website and send me a phone number where I might be able to contact you and discuss what options there are and how to go about it.

I am happy to hear about your interest in Masonry, and to let you know that DeMolay is coming back in this area, probably early next year…

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
