Hello, I’m located in Southern California, I was reading the necessary steps in order to become a Mason.  As long as I meet the initial requirements.  That being said, membership is not easy. If any single mason anywhere in world for any reason objects to you joining then you cannot join. I wouldn’t expect joining would be easy , to be honest I find reinsurance from that. My question is their some database that or something for Mason to review? Thanks, David

Hi and welcome. The vote is only in the Lodge you have petitioned. Not the whole world.

That WOULD be impressive.

Lol, that would be impressive. I just watched the Benjamin Franklin videos…LOVE IT! I’m really glad this site is available, it definitely clears up all the nonsense and fictional conspiracies about Freemasons. Thanks, David

When you petition for membership it is only the Lodge that you apply to which votes on your suitability. That is because you do not actually apply to join Freemasonry as a whole but a specific Lodge of Freemasons.
