I am from Middleton. I went to Amity-mosaic lodge in Danvers, where my grandfather was raise. I was told by the guy that it wasn’t handicap accessibly. the nearest was the lodges on market street in Lynn. I go to college near there. I have a question, can I meet with someone before the session so I can start early? if anyone of you live near market street how safe is the area? and can I take the rail or the bus. my mother is nervous because I have CP and in a wheelchair. now I asked a few masons around the world on other Forums and they say it wouldn’t be a problem. my other question is if you know of a closer lodge and when do lodge decide to upgrade and comply with the ADA? Or are lodge’s consider private like a residents?  can you tell I am a local boy. If you knew my grandfather, John Muzichuck let me know

Dear John:
Thank you for your message and concern on your issues. Happily I have good news for you. The Lodge that your grandfather attended is informed of your needs and will assess your situation, The Master of the Lodge and the Secretary of the Lodge are informed of your questions and family history. My Private Message will be sent to you via Email giving your those contact numbers and email addresses. On the ADA issue, Masonry is first to acknowledge the needs of those with any physical limitations, The Scottish Rite Transportation Fund and Shriner’s Orthopedic Hospital are good examples of the concern and work toward these issues. The historic nature of many of the edifices in the state lend to the unique issues of grandfathered ADA modernization. New construction and major remodels always comply.
I am certain that you will enjoy the fine men of your grandfather’s Lodge. Look for my PM to you.
