Mark your calendar for the Saturday, October 18th, 2008 date throughout Massachusetts. The Grand Master of Masons in Mass. has declared a Lodge Square & Compasses Day for visitors, family, friends and members to visit the Lodge in their community. In many cases, Officers of the Lodge will be present, food available, literature presented and advanced publicly visible. The day is planned from 9AM to 3PM.  See you there!

The best way to get information is to talk to a Mason - either in person or on-line designated to assist you. The “Find a Lodge Near You” feature has the name and contact information of a Brother for every lodge in our state. He will answer your questions and provide you with additional information; and, if you would like, find a convenient time to meet, introduce you to some other members, and tour their building. You may have some of the same questions as many already asked - so take a look at the FAQ’s.
We have this service down to a science and are ready to personally assist you.

I cannot wait for Square and Compasses Day. I will advertise this on the UMass campus and the 5 college area. I have access to some pretty large list serves and will get the information out when the school year starts.

Although you are not 18, you are still welcome to attend the Open House. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about Freemasonry, regardless of their motivation. We hope to see you there.

I plan to attend the Open House for my town’s two lodges. I guess the difference in the two lodges is that they meet on different days in the same building.
