My initiation into the Craft last night as an Entered Apprentice was quite an experience.  I was very proud to don the pure white lambskin apron that so many countless thousands of men have done over the centuries when they joined the Masons.  And I was struck by just how much the men in the lodge I’ve joined enjoy “doing Masonry.”

The memory work starts tonight. The WM himself is going to be my coach.  They want me to be ready to pass in 28 days.

NB: As soon as I get the time I will post an entry in my blog about my initiation.  http://manthanein.com/blog/

I congratulate you on your initiation into our sacred order! I consider the EA degree, to be the most important, because it is your first time in a tyled lodge. I will never forget my EA, my father officiated. I have cherished Masonry for the last 25 years, and I especially enjoy every EA degree, that I can participate in. I sometimes do the Apron lecture.

May the Great Architect of the Universe, guide your steps.

I’m still considering becoming a freemason, so I’ll keep an eye on your blog, Esquire. ;) Congratulations on your positive investigation process and final membership!

My Brother,
In your blog you already speak like a seasoned Mason. Your blog is an excellent read for new and old. Keep it going as I am sending your link to many Brothers.

Thanks. I read somewhere that a man first becomes a Mason in his heart before he asks to join. I think that is true.  Somehow, I’ve always known I would join the Craft.
