Greetings!

Do you know of a lodge in Baltimore, Maryland?  I would have tried to join here in Boston, but I am moving to start work at Johns Hopkins.  I discovered, about a year ago, that one of my best friends is a Mason.  After recently reading 2 books recommended by your various websites, I would like to apply for membership.

Thank you very much for your consideration,

SG

Sam

Baltimore has a vibrant Masonic community. I know a few Lodges there, but I usually suggest that prospective members think about where they will live and work first before visiting. There are some near JH, but I am wondering if you have thought about your where you might be renting or buying a place?

You should know that most of the Lodges go “dark” in the summer months (most older Masonic buildings were/are not air conditioned) but you may be able to speak to a Lodge Secretary to get things started.

Also, if you haven’t been yet, and if you are ever in downtown Boston during the day, I would be happy to meet with you this summer and give you a tour of the Lodge Halls in the in Grand Lodge building to keep your appetite whetted.

We are at the corner of Boylston and Tremont.

Just reply here or send me a private message or email.

In the meantime you can check out the Maryland GL site at:
