As most of us know by now, rapper Jay-Z (who is not a Mason and has even denied being one himself) has a line of clothing “Roca” that is using Masonic symbols.
Now one can only guess that what is happening here is that there have been so many false associations made on such mediums as youtube between Jay-Z and Freemasonry that his Roca clothing line has decided to just capitalize on that and use it (and therefore our brotherhood’s most cherished symbols) for profit.
So I wonder if he will try and copy write it, so anyone using it has to pay him. I remember seeing Charlie Sheen wants to copy write the phrase “winning”
We just have to accept that Jay-Z (in common with Dan Brown) has found that infering connections to Freemasonry makes money and he, like any business man, will exploit that.
The shame is actually that the youth of today are so feeble minded that they take it all at face value, rather than applying their minds to the situation.
I myself as an outsider of freemasonry have been aware of this for quite some time. They also use backmasking, a method used when records were made if played backwards revealed a secret message. This method of subliminal messages which in the passed 10 years has for the most part died untill here of late they have become quite popular again among mainstream artists. I could go further on the matter but I’m quite lazy & believe if one were so inclined they’d take some of there own free time from drinking & taking some time to study.

Long story short you should find the reversed message which is legit as follows….

I brought it up because I find it interesting, slightly humorous, and mildly frustrating. I see no reason to keep quiet on it or cover it up, and I’d rather have people see and read about it here, where they can ask further questions about it if they wish.
To be quite honest, I’m becoming annoyed by your insistence on questioning our motives here. I moderate this forum because Freemasonry is something I enjoy and want to inform others about. I don’t do it to play head games or mislead anyone. There are answers to all your questions, but when you post things like you did above, stating that no matter what we say you will view it with apprehension and doubt, it leads me to wonder just what on earth YOU are doing here.
I’d prefer to spend my time answering questions about Masonry, not about why certain threads are started or how we moderate the forum. Is that difficult to understand? If you want to know what a symbol means, ask. I’ll be happy to share as much as I can. If you want to call me out and question my motives further….I’ll cease being so accomodating.
Also, don’t think this backward message thing is anything new. People were accusing Led Zepplin of it back in the 60s.
Additionally, this is another G. Craig Lewis fabrication. I don’t know what his motives are, he’s probably just found a very interesting way to get paid by making stuff up to scare folks.

If from what I’ve gathered is correct quite a few of them make gains from emulating Masonic symbolism.
To be fair, for every 1 blog or post you can find that says it’s a hoax, there’s 10 others that say it’s real.
And as I stated first, and you strengthened concerning Led Zepplin, it’s nothing new…
The only way to know for sure since the net is always full of people with agendas is to acquire the song and audio editing software to see for ourselves…
And even then still on top of that, you could always say people are hearing what they want to hear, be it demonic or just blabbering…

Damnral with a believe like that how can anyone convince you of anything and it seems you are here wasting your own time. To find the truth you must question honestly. If you believe everyone is lying the the truth will elude you forever.

Sadly, that is pretty common. Use it as an opportunity to educate.
My opinion of the entire Jay-Z clothing line that uses Masonic symbols…. It will not be the first or last time that occurs in history. Its an old brotherhood so I am sure it will occur many times every decade. Searching for the positive in it…. Its free advertising.
Its not like were standing outside of Walmart asking for donations like I have found the Knights of Columbus doing in my area.

About this subliminal messaging in music… dont people know if you make enough songs and listen you might accidentally have a few with backwards messaging. If Jay-Z is that smart to choose the right lyrics thats say things backwards then I am the toothfairy. Because people are giving him too much credit than deserved then. What I have always wondered who are these people that take the time to listen to every song backwards. I don’t know if they are punk kids sitting in grandmas basement or successful people. Seems like a waste a time to me.
They could be using that time to do something a bit more productive to society

The Hip Hop community has become very commercial. The images of artist have changed to a pop culture.
The only reason Jay Z is creating these images, is for the money. Iam African American and a former music artist.

The Color Mohawk, skinny jeans, plade shirts, big belt buckles, spiked bracelets, extreme tatoos, skateboard gear, gothic images on tee shirts, skull and bones, etc.. This is a fade.
