Hello All!

My name is Dave and I have been interested in Freemasonry for a little over ten years now. I learned that my great uncle was a Mason but unfortunately he passed away before I had a chance to talk with him about it. So, I always kept a lookout for anyone wearing any Masonic symbols…

Lo and behold, a little over a month ago a man, who I’ve known from helping over the past year, came into my work and I noticed the square and compass on his shirt! I asked him if he was a Mason and how I was interested in trying to join but I didn’t know any Masons. He answered, “Well, you know one now!”

He invited me to meet and chatwith him after work about Freemasonry and it went well. A couple weeks later he, an officer of the Lodge, and I sat to chat even more and they both signed my petition!

Now, the Lodge meets tomorrow where my petition will be read and I couldn’t be more excited!

This forum has been great in getting my Mason fix while I wait btw.

Thanks for reading and wish me luck!

That’s great news!  Hopefully everything goes well and you’ll be a Mason soon.
