Good day all

I hope I’m posting this introduction / question in the right section.

I am not a Mason, however I have held a steady curiosity about Masonry for many years, at last my curiosity has lead me to the point where the question I have can only be answered by real Mason’s.

My understanding so far of Masonry, has inspired me to seek out and hopefully join this brotherhood one day should I be deemed worthy.

However, this brings me to my next challenge along this particular path, I am in Zimbabwe and have tried to get as much information as possible on where and how to contact a Lodge in my city, there is a very informative page on Facebook full of very useful information regarding the fraternity that also lists contact information of several Lodges in Africa, there was a postal address along with a telephone number for Harare, but the postal address has since been removed and the telephone number has gone unanswered.

So at this point I am stumped…

Could anyone kindly confirm if there is still an active Lodge in Zimbabwe and if so how might I get in touch with them?

I hope you find what you are looking for.

Please be aware that there is a scam which for some reason appears to be particularly widespread in Africa. Advertisements tell people they can become Masons merely by sending money to a certain address or website. Such ads are invariably fraudulent and the money is gone forever. Go with the UGLE link and you will get real info.

Best of luck.

I will definitely be careful of anyone promising the secrets of the universe for a small fee, I have read a few stories of people being duped this way.

I will update once i have made contact.

thank you all once again for your advice.
