Yes, the fact is that Freemasonry is distorted in some countries.

One of the important problems in this case is that when you enter the word “Freemasonry” in online search engines by Persian language, you will get all distorted/false materials and information as Iran’s leaders want to introduce it to Farsi speakers. This also happened to me during my research as I am from Afghanistan and my languege is Dari which is very similar to Persian.

The current question for me which my plan was to create a related forum about is that; Are there credible sources for the study of Freemasonry in Persian language? If yes, How they can be accessed or found?

You could consider contacting the Grand Lodge of Iran in Exile if you are looking for Farsi speaking Masons.  Then again, you might not get a response because….well….exile.

Thank you Dan!

The Grand Lodge of Iran may be able to provide information on Farsi materials. But it seems that there is no contact information and as you mentioned perhaps the caller doesn’t get respond because Exile.

According to the law of Freemasonry - is this allowed to all people have access to elementary Masonic materials (Public Information about Freemasonry)?

Imagine that you want to introduce ONE book/article to an English language speaker for the initial study and right understanding of Freemasonry - what will be your best suggestion?

Who can be allowed to translate and publish it? How?

This is a good one for American Freemasonry but I’m not sure how you would get it translated.

Thanks again.

I am sure contacting the publisher to get permission can be easier than contacting Grand Lodge of Iran to get the Masonic materials.

Peace to you.
