Hello Brothers! I just re-enlisted in the US Army and I am getting stationed in Germany! Does anyone know any English speaking Masonic lodges in Germany? Thanks Brothers, and may the GAOTU keep His eyes on you all!

Hey Aaron,

Wondering how it worked out for you. I just found out I will have to relocate to the Stuttgart area by Oct 1st. Were you there by any chance?

Ken; dead easy .. https://gl-bfg.org/  The Grand Lodge of British Freemasons in Germany.  And they are recognised by UGLE.  Don’t forget to go via your lodge & Provincial secretaries.

Get with the secretary of your lodge. He should have the “yellow book”, listing all of the regular lodges in the world. Ask him to provide you with the names, etc of the lodges in your area of assignment. You should also get a letter, confirming your membership. And I highly suggest that you get a “masonic passport”, and use it. I have visited lodges in 14 states, and 5 foreign countries. I wish that I had a passport when I started out as a Mason.

Just for clarity we don’t use that publication in the UGLE, our own Yearbook and website list the Grand Lodges that we recognise and our Grand Chancellor makes the invitations in advance.

I have gone through the proper channels and so far have just been provided a link to the UGLE list of foreign lodges that we recognize. It is summer so I am hoping as October approaches they will lend a bit more help in my search for an English speaking lodge in my new area. I thank you all for your help and answers!
