Unfortunately,  the short answer is you can’t join in Kuwait. Freemasonry is illegal in your country and the only groups calling themselves masons there are irregular and unrecognized by the rest of the Fraternity.

Have you, as I suggested some considerable time ago now, contacted the Grand Lodge of Scotand, and if so how?

A couple of important points.

1) We understand that you are looking to become a Freemason, and I hope you find the answers you seek, but you don’t need to start multiple threads discussing it.  One will suffice.

2)I know I had a thread earlier discussing Freemasonry in Lebanon, and I can tell from your posts that you have read that thread, but I believe the situation in Lebanon has changed since my post, and I can no longer vouch for that information.  I have no further contact with Lebanese Masons, but as soon as I do, I will update the forum.

Sorry, I know this is frustrating for you.  Unfortunately we are thousands of miles away and don’t know anyone here who can answer our questions.

My last job was in Kuwait. There is no Masonry in the country. I cannot speak about whether Freemasonry is illegal there or not.  In most countries with an Islamic majority, organizations of this nature are generally forbidden. ANYONE, whether native or expatriate, should be very discreet and very careful about the craft.  Do not wear any masonic jewelry or identification.
