KevinK37 and Ken28 thank you both for your kind words and support.  I am very excited for my 3rd degree in May.  In just about a week (April 7th) I will be exemplifying a portion of the ritual in front of the whole lodge.  I am excited for that as well.  Thanks again for the positive and encouraging words.

My exemplification piece I am reciting is coming up on April 7th.  I am very excited and anxious all at the same time.  It will be a very amazing and meaningful experience.

Just a quick update.  My exemplification on April 7th went very well!  It was an amazing and meaningful experience.  I nailed it!  I didn’t miss any of it.  Everyone was very kind and congratulated me after too.  Only a few short weeks (May 5th) until I am made a Master Mason!  Updates to follow…

Thanks, Dan!  It really means a lot.  I tried my best and it ended up paying off, especially in front of the GM’s.

Wow!!! What an honor to exemplify in front of such a distinguished group
of individuals as a Fellowcraft Mason. That usually happens during a
Grand Lodge of Instruction. Your proficiency is also a reflection on the
Officers of your Lodge. Congratulations to you all; and Eric, keep up the
good work.

I just purchased a Master Mason ring in anticipation of my 3rd degree on May 5th.  My ring comes in this Friday.  I am excited to receive it and to wear it after I go through my 3rd degree in May.

Ken28, tell me about it!  There are so many choices for rings!  I spent a few hours trying to make a choice and finally picked out a really nice one.  It is a white gold style with a square black onynx on it with the S&C on top of it.  Very neat looking.  Have a fun time making a choice!

I bought mine at a local jeweler. Many jewelers will take masonic rings in as part of an estate. Another good, but somewhat sad, place to look for masonic rings is pawn shops.
