Okay so, my initiation into Freemason begins next month, with me as the candidate.

So i have been told a few things about Masonry from fellow brethren, one of them was about the Order of DeMolay. I dont know about anywhere else in the world, but apparantly, and this is from a Past Masters very own mouth…

“That the Order of DeMolay is actually no part of Freemasonry and has been officially excluded by the Grand Master of Australia himself, becuase the groups beliefs and behavoirs actually tinker on the very edge of satanic and sex magic rituals, that were being performed by its followers. The Grand Master also enstated that any Freemason that was involved with the Order of DeMolay was to be expelled from the craft and never to return...”

These are the words from a Past Master who has been through the Chair of Soloman and is a very old, wise and trusted friend.

Has anyone else heard of this? Or anything alse to do with the DeMolays being excluded from the craft on these hanus charges?

Thanks for your continued interest.

But I’m afraid you have some bad information there.

The Order of DeMolay is a wonderful organization for young men that teaches many of the precepts that Masonry teaches, and is great introduction to the Craft. There is nothing satanic about it.

Ii can’t imagine any Mason, let alone a Master or Grand Master saying anything like that.

There is nothing in Freemasonry that prevents someone from DeMolay from becoming a Freemason. In fact many if not most DeMolay members go on to become Freemasons.

Next month I will double check to make sure 100% thats what he said, im pretty positive that “the Order of DeMolay” is what he said.

I have looked at their site and it looks great I cant seem to think why something like this would have been said, unless we have had a group go rogue on us in Australia, with the same name.

I have heard of other “sub branches” of masonry going rogue before such as P2 (Propaganda Duo) in Italy.
