1- In most cases, you will need to provide the lodge you are petitioning with some character references. These individuals need not necessarily be Freemasons. I suggest that you contact the secretary of the lodge in your residence area, and inquire.
2- Once you are a mason anywhere, then you are a mason everywhere! My membership is in Kentucky, but I have attended lodges in 12 states, and four foreign countries. Visitation with other worldwide lodges, is one of the privileges of being a Mason. Once you are a mason, you will receive a membership card, annually, from your lodge. This membership card, serves as a receipt that your dues are paid up (This card is also referred to as a “dues card"). The membership card, also serves as an “admission ticket” to all lodges worldwide.
If you decide that Masonry is right for you, then let us know, and we will assist you in locating a lodge near your residence, and in submitting the required paperwork.
Remember, you will never be asked to join. The decision to be a mason, must be reached by yourself, with no outside influence or pressure.
I wish you luck, should you decide to petition our Craft.
