Hi, Deanna-

I suggest you contact Cythia Alcorn, the librarian of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. She should be able to help you with your request. Cynthia can be reached at 617.426.6040 x4221, or . Good luck.

Dear Deanna:
It’s Intriguing to find written memorabilia on old Lodges. Masons pride themselves on history and the preservation of Artifacts. I, too, ran across an old black and white photo plate printed and preserved by the Boston Historical Society of the stately home of Dr. Winslow Lewis. It was on one of the avenues in the now Back Bay. I turned it over to the Officers known to me at Winslow Lewis Lodge in Boston.

While the Lodge may have material such as yours, it may be worth contacting them to determine any interest. Here is a contact:

well thank you both so much for your information i will do both i do find the manual a great find . it was given to me by a client i have who is in her 80s it was left in an estate she purchased and has lived in for the past 50 years. she knows i love old books and gave it to me as a gift. the cover reads
manual of the lodge mackey
inside it reads
to winslow lewis m.d.
past grand master of massachusetts
this work
is dedicated
not more
as a tribute to the respect i feel
for
his intelectual attainments
than
as a token of that sincere affection long since won from me
by the
largeness and kindness of his heart.

it sounds very personal and the book was specially made for this man by
new york
clark &maynard publishers in 1875

i have found very little on line but he sounded like a great man he went to harvard and earned his mmedical degree and was the highest rank in masons.

thanks all for everything !
respecfully deena
