Bio

As a Freemason for 18 years, I am one of the many “Moderators” of this forum, and hence, a de facto Ambassador.

I am a past “Master” of Columbian Lodge in Boston. Columbian Lodge was chartered in 1795 by Paul Revere, who was then the Grand Master of Freemasonry in Massachusetts. Columbian, which was named in honor of Christopher Columbus, is an old Lodge, but there are others in Boston that are even older.

A native of Texas, I moved to the Northeast in 1988 to further a writing career, and I “asked” to become a Freemason the next year. I am currently a Creative Director at Fidelity Investment’s advertising agency, and a partner in the creative firm Boston Light Inc—the ad agency responsible for the Askafreemason radio and TV spots.

If you have general questions, I would prefer that you register and use the Forum below to ask questions.

Please contact me if you are interested in learning how to become a Freemason—especially if you live or work near downtown Boston.
